Unforgotten

Multiple Locations

Unforgotten is a visual documentation project dedicated to sharing inaccessible landscapes in New York City.

These photos represent selects from various episodes of Unforgotten Films focused on documenting the relationship between public interests, community organizations, creative efforts, and government agencies — to demonstrate the under-appreciated potential of creative collaborations and to promote access & awareness throughout our city.

“These photos reconnect an entire generation of New Yorkers with aspects of our city that most are unaware existed — and support the ways that creative thinking can help shape the future priorities for these sites and our city”

Unforgotten has been ongoing since 2018 and includes images from Ellis Island, Hart Island, NYS Pavilion, Renwick Ruin, Brooklyn Navy Yard, Fort Totten, Green-Wood Cemetery, the Washington Square Arch, and North Brother Island.
